Does anyone know what would cause my V3 to stop vibrating? I have checked and double checked the settings, (it is set to vibrate/ring, and the volume is at 7) I've changed the battery, and it still will not vibrate. Thanks
The phone's vibrating mechanism has likely broken and may need to be fixed through your provider if you have insurance it will be free for them to take a look at it

There is a small motor inside the phone that makes it vibrate. That motor could have gone bad. You should be able to either get it repaired or replaced by your carrier.
Does the vibration not work when a call comes or is it vibrating non stop? In either case you need to restart your phone and try calling to it to make sure it vibrates.
If it is not vibrating, then check phone ringing settings and make sure it is set to vibrate + ring.
go to setting and check for vibrating if that won't work turn off the sound call the phone if it don't vibrated change it open the phone order parts from Ebay
Hi Rayan. Yes I'm afraid its a Hardware problem, or maybe you changed the settings and put off vibration accidentally. If its a hardware problem it can be repaired under $8. I'm afraid theres no way to get your sms back. Please rate!!!
my phone barely got wet at all but wont stop viberating either.everthing else works fine. i set it on a table to go on the computer and the viberating just stopped and i dont know why but right after that it just started viberating again. i got some tips from some other people that didnt work 4 me but it might work 4 u. u could try doing a master reset which just taking out the battery when the phone is on and it resets or u can try blowing on the battery in case it somehow got some dust on it.
Unfortunately, the vibration mechanism is not in the battery. You will eiither have to get it serviced or get a replacement phone.
I am very farmiliar with the MPX220 as I used to use one. When mine died, I replaced it with a Motorola Q. If you have GSM service, the GSM Q's are being relesed shortly.
