Question about Canon i860 InkJet Photo Printer
The printer says "offline" and there is no option to put it "online". Also, when I go to print, the light flashes green as if it's about to print, then it stops and I get the "Error; printer offline" thing. When I go to print monitor, the Canon i860 is there twice. The main one isn't an option, though there is a green check mark next to it. The one that is a highlighted option is the Canon i860 Copy1. Frustrated..... Any suggestions?
Move mouse pointer on to your printer icon in the Printer folder. Does a right click and click on the sixth line of the menu (“Use printer on line”). Then it will change as “Use printer offline”. Make sure the printer is set as default printer.

Go to you printer icon in the printers folder, right click on both printers mentioned and cancel all documents. Firsly disconnect printer from usb or parallel port. Next uninstal both printers as the copy one refers to a second installation.(right click, then either uninstal or remove) Insert your cd driver disc and install driver, then when prompted connect printer. If again this fails, then either try another cable or connect in another port.

First go to your PC. Press start, settings, printers and fax. Right click the printer icon and you can turn it online from there. there is most likely no online button on the machine itself.

Try this: With your i860 printer turned ON, press and hold the I/O switch then pull off the power cord. This will turn off your printer. But without lifting your finger on the I/O switch put back your power cord. the I/O switch will blink for a second and will go off, then turn-on your printer again and see if it works.
