Power supply I need a schematic or picture image of the main power supply for Gateway GTW-P42M102.Can any One help mi?Please!

i have the gtw-p42m102 and it did the scrolling thing and i had the image board dpwb11393-1g-l changed and it worked fine for 2 years.Now it made a pop like a firecracker and i am working in it now.

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

The power supply board can be changed without any knowledge of repair but there are sometimes adjustments necessary if the picture is not normal. Many times it is fine. There a 4-5 voltage adjustments that would take some knowledge and a meter to accomplish. You need to hope it was diagnosed properly first. If it is completely dead the p.s is a good possibility. If it clicks on then back off almost immediately it is not likely the power supply.

Mine does the same thing. Was told by the TV repair guy it is a bad control panel.

Check the panel voltages, and start unplugging the cables to each PCB and check the voltages each time, if the voltages come back up the its probably the PCB that is disconnected, in most case its the logic main board. Hope this helps
