My phone makes nuisence calls without me doing anything
I keep getting phone calls off people who say that my phone has been dialing out to there phone and they picked up but there was nobody on the line, I checked my bills and this was true, I reported a fault with BT and they said they have fixed a cross line within my local exchange, Then a few days later the calls continued and I called them again I was told there was no fault on my line however after hours of phone calls they eventually sent somebody out to look at it,
I was then told it wss my own equipment but when the engineer came I got the impression he didnt know what he was doing.
Do you know what this could be?

I've notied my earpiece does this too when it gets moisture in it. Sometimes from using it while exercising or having it on when it's wet out. Try putting the earpiece on top of uncooked rice next time it's doing this and see if drying it out helps.
You need to press the Phone or Speaker button or the soft key for Phone (see the LCD screen) after entering the phone number to dial the phone. Until you do, you can edit the phone number without actually making the call.
1) make sure is the phone is working good 2) there are tone dial 3) see the steps before o.k see ,if there are another phone having the same problem. The problem is service provider. 4) eliminate any background noise., mute the cordless handset before dialing. God bless you
Place the telstra 8100 handset in the charger. Call any number while the handset is in the charger and it should dial out - you can hear the dial tone now. Take the handset out of the charger and you should be able to call normally.
