Re: DVD won't eject DVD
If you have no indication of power(no lights)you might have to remove the top cover and check the main fuse,it might have opened, sometimes they just blow for no reason but if it is black you have more problems ahead.Make sure the unit is not plug in when you do it.If you have lights(display) and unpluging the unit does not help maybe you should consider buying a new one.

Alien is right, pull the Radio Fuse, then put it back in and eject the CD/DVD. Happens to me sometimes with burned DVDs, seems like the player is picky on the CD/DVD media. Rebooting the device (by pulling the fuse) is the only way to eject it.
Sometimes a dvd can be ejected manually but mostly the unit must be partially dismantled but if you try to do that you will invalidate the warranty - at only 5 months old it will be the responsibility of the supplier/retailer to cure the problem. I suggest you re-read the instructions and then contact the supplier without delay.
Then you should contact the dvd rental company and tell them what is happening.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn the player ON. Attempt to open the disc tray. Depending on the model number of your DVD player, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons. If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the DISC1 + STOP + EJECT buttons.6 Jan 2013
It seems you will need to open the damn thing, or search for a tech, verify your warranty, dont void it.
First you can try to move a little bit the dvd, unplug and plug, change disc, ieverything that can move a part inside the dvd must be pressed, surely is stucked between the play and the open stage.
