Can someone give me a suggestion of how to get the message light form my Uniden PowerMax 5.8 cordless phones to stop blinking? It worked fine until I switched from Verizon to Cox Digital. Is there a new setting for Cox I should use? Appreciate the suggestions!

I found that if I hold the "find hs" button on the BASE unit (right above the red charging light) for a few seconds, it works!! Thank goodness there is a solution! Thanks for the help.

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

Is your base near a computer or other electronics? Also, make sure your microwave is not on. I get static if I do any of those things.

Press the "envelope" icon at the right-bottom of the keypad. Then press number 8 and it starts the recording.
