Make sure that the additional box is hooked up to the cable, or else the display will not function

I have a Eclipse CD8445 radio. I would like to know if I can plug RCA plugs into the AUX ports to work with my MP3 player and how would I get the radio to Recongnise it

Hi, see page 205 of the manual:

http://www.eclipse-web.com/eu/en/download/manual/cd8445e_e/audio/pdf/8445ae99.pdf

Just plug your player into the RCA inputs and press "DISC MS" until "AUX" appears in the display.

Demo mode off

you need to find the menu options to do this you need to hold down one of the buttons for a few seconds untill the menu comes up then search for 'demo mode' to de-activate it

I am trying to get the user registration key off of my CD8445.

The standby mode is just having the radio turned off with the car or key turned on. That's all.

Eclipse CD8445 Clock Problems

First off who installed the radio?
If you or a friend did you ned to make sure that 12+ always is supplied to the radio and is hooked to the appropriate wire on the radio. If it does have 12+ always and it is hooked up correctly a replacement of the radio is in order, however I bet the wireing to the radio is crossed or the radio itself is uncorrectly installed.

The reason is the accessory and 12+ always wire has been crossed or was never there to begin with.

Eclipse CD8445 Clock Problems

If you lose your preset stations as well, it means that your memory wire (sometimes yellow sometimes red) is not hooked to a constant power source. Get a testlight and find a wire in where the radio is at that has constant power once you find that attach the memory wire.

2001 stereo code.

The stereo's ESN Feature has activated. High-end Eclipse stereo's have a feature to prevent theft where if the battery is disconnected from the stereo, it must be "unlocked" with a "key" CD, that comes with the CD player but can later be changed to a personal CD of the owner. You would need to either call Eclipse and see if they can de-activate it (you'll need to ship it to them, if they even do it, because it is a security feature after all.) Or you need to talk to the last owner of the vehicle and have them unlock it.
