We've just come back from holiday and noticed that all the pics taken on the Sony Handycam DCR-PC109e are totally "washed out". I've tried resetting the camcorder by hitting the reset button, but the pictures still look like they're being taken through a pair of tights! Have we accidentally altered some of the settings, can anyone help us? As you've probably guessed, I'm a complete photographic novice.

Hi, This link will explain what a codec is. You will need to update the computer's codec every so often to play certain video files. Try to inport the video into WWM again and follow the instructions. It should work. I you still have problems try e-mailing me direct at [email protected] and I'll see what I can do.
I have heard that that they are great for recording video but if you want great pic's you should use your digital camera. before buying mine they told me that it wouldn't take great still pic's because of the megapixels or something.
