I have located some conv. IC amps to fit my tv at Electroix online. I have STK 392-110 in my tv. At the top right corner they have another number. One IC has B2F17 on it and the other has B2F18 on it. What are these numbers and do they make a differance in what you are getting. Should the ones I order have that number? I know you said to wait but this thing is driving me crazy. I cant hardly watch it its so bad. They only cost $5.99 a piece at this sight so I figured it is worth a shot. Other sights have them for 29.99 a piece. Is there any differance? What should I look for? Also there are 3, 4 wire plugs that plug into the board next to the IC's. Each one goes to a differant lamp. I am assuming thats the convergence wires from the board. When I unplug the one to the blue lamp the image straightens its self out. Its not a pincushion anymore. It is straight and flat like the others. When i plug it back in it screws up again. And I didnt tell you before when I go into my convergence menu the blue + are crooked and sideways. Its like they are twisted. They would align in a million years. Thought I would tell you that just to givr a little more info on it, incase that is a sign of somthing else. Sorry I bug the hell out of you just want it fixed and dont want to pay someone 3 or 400 bucks to fix it. Thanx for all your help!!

Re: Hey jomaru, question about ic
Hello,The important number are the STK numbers, the others numbers mean something but not to Us,some parts are inexpensive because they are not originals ,they are copies and they work but not as good, you should get the parts from www.partstore.com,give them a call and see how much they want for them,I heard they have the good ones, maybe a little more but worthed.I am glad I can can help you ,just let me know how it goes.

Your one and only problem is a bad convergence Amp board. Changing it will fix your set. You can contact http://www.interactiverepair.com for step by step assistant with installation of this board. List price $100 Part Number: BP95-00142P
red, green, and blue lines curve across the top of tv is cause by defective convergence STK IC or you have open resistor at convergence section. if you have defective RGB Color vertical ramp probably you have defective STK IC..
Your problem could be the Convergence board is loading down the power supplies and will not let the TV set come on, or the power/deflection board, part number AA94-08574A, or the STR type regulator IC, part number
AA13-00105A. If you locate the convergence board, unplug the connectors, and see if the set will come on. if the set does come on, replace both of the STK convergence IC's at once. The part numbers for those IC's are STK392-40. You can get the original replacement IC's from MCM electronics for about 15 to 16 bucks a piece. Do not use the less expensive STK IC's as they are not the same. the replacement IC's should have the name of SANYO printed right on the face of the IC's. Good Luck
