Starting months ago the volume would cut out while using the remote.
I would have to turn off 6way outlet bar to reboot it.
only would do this about once a week.
recently the tv started crackling, then the when I turned it off and tried to turn it back on, there is no picture no sound but a popping from the back and flickering lights inside making the noise. I have not tried again.
Good tv, good sound and picture. Hate to lose this one.

I do also get this same issue, They were working just fine, and 4 or 5 months ago, the right speaker crackles, if i unplug the right speaker all is fine. But as soon as I plug the right speaker in, i get a cracking sound. Have you solved this ussue?
I had same camera like yours, and same problem. I heard the same sound (firecracker) a while ago. Are these solution really work at your camera? Please let me know if its. Thanks in advance!
Are you sure the plates were Microwave oven safe? Some dishes have metal in the colors of the design. A snap, crackle, pop noise normally means there is metal present in the oven.
Have the CRTs checked for grid to cathode shorts. The CRTs do this (pop and crack) when they have Grid Cathode shorts. I would advise having a qualified TV technician do this for you.
It sounds to me as if possibly ya Main IC Amp Chip & OR the Output Capacitors are failing... Sometimes it is a sign of a power supply on it's way out... Either way it's time for a repair shop quote.
Either that or it may be the speakers crossovers... to check this, if you can, try another set of speaker... see if problem is still there. If it IS, then it IS most probably as I said above.. If NOT then it may be one or both of the "Crossover Network" in each speaker...
