First try disconnecting both the router and modem from power for a few minutes. Also turn power off to the computer. Restart all of the components. Wait a few minutes and try. It will take a few minutes to restore the connections.
Next from the computer access the router. 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Usually the ID is "admin" no quotes no caps.
Querry the router and valadate the settings. If not successfull try resetting the router to factory by depressing the button located on the rear of the unit.
All right. Try resetting your modem and router. (To do this, unplug your modem, then router, wait about a minute, then plug the modem back in, wait a few seconds, and plug in your router.) A few minutes after the reset, if Netflix still isn't working, check the wireless settings on your Wii itself. Test the connection, too. If your Internet is active, you might want to check the Wii Shop Channel and see if there's an update you've missed. If your Internet isn't working, contact your provider, and make sure your router and modem are connected correctly.
If your Internet isn't wireless, follow the above steps, minus the router parts.
Reset your router using the red reset button in back of the router. Let everything startup and test it. If the problem persists, then you might have to call your ISP or replace the router itself.
Losing internet can be a pretty common thing. Let's try these steps
1) Unplug the power from your router and DSL/Cable modem for 10 minutes.
2) Plug in your DSL/Cable Modem. Make sure all the status lights are okay per your manual. This might take several minutes
3) Plug in your Router, again wait until all lights are okay.
4) Restart all computers on your network.
If you still get problems, call your ISP to verify no internet issues are in the area. If there aren't you probably have a bad router and should get it replaced.
Try to upgrade the firmware of the router. Firmware is the software of the router. Download the latest firmware of the router. Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the firmware of the router. Open the set up page of the router and upgrade the firmware of the router. Once you upgrade the firmware of the router, reset the router. On the router you will find a small reset button, hold it down for 30 seconds. release it. wait for 1 minute. Now unplug the power to the router and plug it back in. Now you will need to reconfigure the router according to the Internet service provider.
For that you need to reset your router to factory defaults. Then reconfigure fix this problem. First RESET your router to defaults. for that press RESET button for 10 seconds RESET button is in back side of router. Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable. Then you can access it with following link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password" Then you can see configuration page of router. Set WAN settings as your internet service provider settings. Enable DHCP . Click on wireless and enable wi fi. If you want secure router then enable WEP security then add new code it is your password key for connect wi fi. Also change channel type in wireless option 4,6 and 11 channel are best. Try 1 by 1 then save settings and restart router.
Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks.
Did you check the connection through the modem, means if you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work properly?

You will need to hard reset the whole unit unfortunatly, there should be a reset button on the back of the unit that would do that for you you might need a sharp head to do that, usually hold that button down for 5 seconds and it will reset your device, you will have to go back and re-set up your network tho. make sure you find the manual first to get the default log in and password. i believe they are Log in; admin Passowrd: admin
please check manual before resetting because you might lose connection. Hope this helps let me know Thanks
