I have a Tmobile MDA and since the first day i bought it , it takes HOURS to turn on. When i turn it on it gets stuck on the TMOBILE START UP SCREEN with the RED LETTERS IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER. I leave it plugged in over night and it EVENTUALLY TURNS ON AFTER A WHOLE NIGHT!!!!! Sometimes DAYS!!!!
To Summerize it pretty much gets stuck on the first screen when it turns on and doesnt do anything for hours. Sometimes it turns on after hours of being plugged in and sometimes it takes a day or two.
If ANYONE has any idea how i can fix this problem i will owe you BIG TIME. Or if anyone has any idea where i can get my phone fixed that would be greatly appreciated thank you !!!

Re: Tmobile Mda Wont Turn On
I would call them at 1-800-t-mobile to make sure your service is set up correctly (if it isn't it may explain why it takes so long to locate the network) or you could use their customer care site at http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx to find a store that will replace/repair it for you.

Mda Vario's don't charge when turned off, heres what you do.
cut wire off a usb lead the small end strip the red and black wires, put the red wire onto the posative connection where the battery is it tells you what side is posative and negative on the battery, use black with negative and red with posative making sure that no wires touch the other metal strips in the phone, replace battery plug usb into computer and start up the mda and wait for it to boot. once turned on leave to charge as it will charge through the wires connected to the battery, after 10 to 15 minutes plug in the actuall charger and try to remove usb wires without taking battery out. if that is not possable it is ok as the battery should have enough power to start up once it starts leave to charge and always keep some charge in the phone.
