    Hi Pablo, I'try access to another computer and no results. The fails continue. I connect to the Internet directly to the modem ADSL to my ISP. I not have more Lan and don't share my documents and printers and the internet connection. I download two upgrade's. One is an executable end other is a .bin file. When run the .exe this detect a address 192.168.260.133 (?) and a password is required. Type (nothing) and require again, Type my password signed on my PPOE authentication and the error continue. Change the address to 192.168.0.1 and no results. My router is 4 years old and the warranty is obsolete. I think buy a new router.

    Sincerely thanks

    Daniel :(

Try reseting the router. (insert a pin into the back hole and hold on few seconds)
Then try typing the default address

http://192.168.0.1

User= admin
Pass= (blank) no password

Try accesing the router thru another computer

    Daniel:

    That's sound weird to me. Try running this Wizard from here:

    http://support.dlink.com/emulators/di604...

    Remember that in your case if you're using DSL by phone you have to choose PPPoE
    and enter your user name and pass (usually your email address assigned by the company that provide the service there.)

    If still doesn't work, the router must be replaced.

I have a D-link (Broadband VPN Router) that I want to hook up but I don't have the software. Is it possible to get free software downloads? The model #: DI-804HV.

Hello there,

You don't need a software for this one of the connection only requires an ethernet cable. What you need to do is to hook up the cable and then connect to the router locally. You may have to refer to the manual but usually you access 192.168.1.1 or something alike.

Good luck!

Where can i get the driver for Di-604 for a win 7 64bit OS

Routers don't need drivers. You connect to it via LAN using a LAN cable.
For further instructions, check manual at http://www.netwood.net/support/manuals/D-Link_DI-604_manual.pdf

WHEN I DIRECT MY INTERNET WIRE I CAN CONNECT BUT WHEN CONNECTING IT TO ROUTER I GET LIMITED CONNECTIVITY.

It means that the router is not configured yet. First, you have make sure that your internet wire is connected to the WAN port of your router and the computer should be connected to one of the LAN ports of your router.

Check the LEDs. Be sure that the LEDs for WAN and LAN where your computer is connected to is lit up or blinking (will depend on the brand and model number of the router).

Then you need to access the Web Utility of the router to set it up correctly. You need to refer to the manual of your router. Having a router does not mean that it will work immediately once you connect your internet or modem to it. It needs configuration.

You may also contact the tech support of your router (since the brand was not provided) for assistance

Thank you!

Cant share internet using a router

Hi There, what model of dlink router do you have?
Also, Or just check the ports you have in your router, the internet should be connected to the WAN port and the switch and/or computers to the LAN port(s).
If the router is new by default you should be able to access internet by plug everything the way I told you.
Also, by default the router ip address should be 192.168.1.1, type that into your web browser address bar, then you will have access to the router admin web page were you can see the status page, there will tell you if you have or not access to Internet really. Maybe the problem is that the router have no access internet access at all.

D-Link DI-604 Router can be use in Wireless Broadband?

You can use any wireless access point. If you would like to stay with Dlink, you could try the DWL-2100AP. You would just need to plug it in to an open port on your router.
