The unit doesn't power up at all. Is this a common issue, should I buy a power board for this unit and if so where can I purchase it. Are there any other issues that can cause this unit to blow a power supply? The company that makes the power board is 3B.. Cant fid any info on them. Thanks
Dou you still have this tv?

You might want to contact them at http://www.planar.com/Products/TV_Large_Screen/plasma/index.html from there you can go support and then on line custumer service.

The rating response is important to the person helping you.
You need to get in touch with the manufacture, tell them what your problem is and what can they do to help you,if they say there is nothing they can do tell them you are upset and would like to buy the parts,in my opinion they have to help you the unit is not that old.Dont take NO for an answer.

I contacted Planar and they were not able to give me the company address that makes the power boards. i took the unit apart and the fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and it blew again. I disconnected all of the cables leading to other boards and the fuse did not blow. I isolated it to one connecter with four plugs. This plug is located on the right towards the bottom. It sends a signal and some power to the logic board. Could this be a short on the power supply or on the Logic board.
