Hi my altec lancing atp3 7 pin wire of right speaker is damaged so i want to buy the new one. please let me know from where i can get the same in chandigarh.

if this is the type that is self powered , I be carefull in hooking other types of speakers up to this as in most cases the sub powers the satellite speakers as well , wire mismatch would/could damage your pc's sound card as well
blue tooth connected speakers are just not that expensive nowdays to risk damaging your pc's soundcard

I would suggest you take it back to the dealer you bought it from and demand a new one.

Try to reconnect all the wires, the problem seems to be with connection. Instead of spending lot of money on speakers, you can buy just the wires, they are pretty cheap. Hope this helps.

The amps are 8-pin CHN 4558CN [K1D142] and 8-pin PHIL TDA8199 [LD8136] The Voltage Regulator is a 14-pin LM324N There is a 3-pin LM7812CN 12-volt regulator... They are in the sub-woofer housing which is held in place by tape so it can be pried off if done with care. Hope this helps. If you have all the cables and wires in place I would appreciate knowing the connection sequences (someone cut all the wiring to the set I have.)

I have Altec Lancing Fx5051 5.1 No doubt the Sound Quality is Awesome however, I had some Issues with the Speakers and the Power.. While Playing the Device .. Suddenly the Sounds become so Low that it becomes Difficult for any one to Listen.. but again after some Adjustment is Volume.. the Sounds Come back ... and this Things had to be Repetead every 2-3 minutes .....

I had Called up the Service Center Guys .. they asked me to Change the Power Supply to another point and Try ... I did but nothing worked ...

Now that I have Changed my entire Home with New Electrical Wires and Earthing Properly Fixed ... the Problem Still Persists ... But Now I see that the main Woofer is Not taking Power ... I dont Know wot is wrong ... Can you Please help me ... ...

This is a standard female DB-9 serial port.
Here are the pinouts.

Pin 1 = Left Speaker Out +

Pin 2 = Left Speaker Out - (Common Ground)

Pin 3 = Left Line In +

Pin 4 = Right Line In +

Pin 5 = Left/Right line In - (Common Ground)

Pin 6 = Right Speaker Out +

Pin 7 = Right Speaker Out - (Common Ground)

Pin 8 = Power A

Pin 9 = Power B

Jumper (short) Power A to B to turn on.
If you want a volume control you need to put one on the inputs. You will buy buy a stereo volume control or potentiometer.
