Question about Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Video Card, 128MB DDR, TV-Out, 8X AGP, GEFORCE FX 5200 128MB 64-BIT Graphic Card
Hi, I just recently started having issues with my Geforce FX 5200 graphics card. -The story goes, one day I simply restarted my computer it got to the login screen and the PC resarts. here is what i tried to solve the problem: -Restarted the computer several times (no effect) -Put the graphics card into another computer the same problem came up with that computer (thus confirming the issue was with the graphics card) -I purchased a new graphics card for my pc and now it works fine. -HOWEVER, I still need the geforce as my second pc doesn't seem to have an integrated graphics card I can hook my monitor up to, and the one it was using is indeed fried. -So basically im back to square one with the continous rebooting problem.
I think you have to check the mosfet if cold soldier then u resolder it. :)

As your primary pc now has a working graphics card . I would guess your graphics card is fried in all honesty there is really no hope in repairing it especially for the cost of one of those cards, if you are simply using your second pc for non graphic intensive apps then I am sure you could find an ol pci grpahics card down the local dump for next to nothing hope this helps.
