Hp 1010 printer takes the page in and cartridge works fine but paper continuously gets jammed near fuser assembly. Pls give me a solution. I have already wasted a lot of paper in this.
Remove left,right,top & back cover, #check paper sensor flag & flag spring, found any dis location? correct it.Most of the cases spring dis location observed (see the snap shot for easy recognition)#clean fuser paper out sensor as well as check sensor flag.#check fuser teflon sleeve.

Put a maintence kit in your machine, easy install, everything just clicks in, Every 200 000 prints it should be done, it includes the fuser, all feed rollers, sep pad and transfer roller.
These are great printing machine, they only ever need the MK and on this model a fuser drive gear wears and get noisy, but once that has been done once, it is ok from then on.
KIts seem expensive but they are meant to last 200 000 prints and usally do. These are one of the best most reliable printers in the market.

SOURCE: Error 13.20.00 on HP laserjet 5200 jam inside top
This is a common issue and most times a bear to repair. There is a
sensor flag mounted on the paper feed assembly behind tray 1 which has
a habit of either coming off or the spring which moves it back a forth
comes out of its holder. In any case it is one of the worst repairs you
have to do. Many items have to come off to get to it and getting that
flag and spring on correctly even with the instructions is difficult.
Usually what will happen is you get the 13.20.00 error on power up with
no motor movement and when you open and close the top cover, the motor
will move but the same error reappears. If you are lucky it is just a
case of a shred of paper blocking the sensor flag from moving and worst
case of the flag having come off. You will need the service manual and
check the removal and replacment section on the paper feed assembly and
play close attention to the 3rd page.
sometimes this error also appears if a wrong fuser is installed in ur printer that is not ur model number.... have it checked
thank you
have a nice day

I had the same problem. I called HP and went through the steps they had asked me to go through to fix it. It took about an hour. Nothing worked. They offered me a replacement. I said no, and they offered me a $150 gift card for Staples.

Try This :
Connect the printer directly to the wall outlet ; not through any Power strip
Then Unplug the Power cable from the back of the printer
Keep on tapping the power cable for next 30 seconds
Plug in back the power cable;
Open the rear access door and you will get to see some rollers
Clean the rollers with a Lint free cloth Moistened with some distilled water
Try to do a copy if still it doesn works
Then Unplug the Power cable from the back of the printer
With one hand press and hold down the (#) and the (6) button and with the other hand plug in back the power cable ; it will do a Semifull reset on the printer; This will take some time ; Follow the instruction on the screen;
If still it doesn't work then you need to contact HP ;
The toll free no. for HP would be : 1-800-474-6836
They will replace the printer for you free of cost (No Charge if the printer is in warranty i.e within 1 yr of purchase)

Well....I solved the problem......bought a new Canon printer!!
I tried everything...unplugging, cleaning everything that was mentioned above. I was onto HP online support several time, but they were absolutely no help at all...they basically told me that the cartridge must be damaged or ink dried up and to buy a new cartridge to see if the error persisted.....I don't think so!!!
I will never by HP again after having issues with the last two I have had. I love my new Canon printer it is EVERYTHING that HP wasnt.
