When i plugged my computer into my tv using the hdmi input and i turn my computer on it goes through the loading screen then shows windows there. then after windows loads up it does a muli colored horizontal line then goes to black. i have a radeon 9500 video card with 128mb memory on the computer. I have gotten it to work with my other computer that has an nvidia card. any ideas?
Are you using a DVI to HDMI converter? Radeon cards older than x1*** series or roundabout didnt support hdcp on dvi which is required to run Hi-Def rez thru an HDMI cable on most TVs. A video card with hdmi prebuilt in or HDCP compliance listed on the box should be able to handle it. And you should find a resolution both your normal monitor and HDTV can handle to set the coimputer to before you switch it over to the HDTV to be sure it will still show you picture. If you arent using 1080P you might as well use a component input which doesnt require HDCP.

I had the same issue with this TV in my hotel room. I set the FLX3211B TV up as an extension of my laptop, but had to change the refresh rate from the default 58p Hz to 60p Hz for the digital TV display. Once I did this, it came right up.
If it's the first time using your PS3, use the composite cables that came with it. Turn on the PS3 go to video settings and switch the input to HDMI. After you've switched to HDMI, turn the PS3 off and connect your HDMI cable, go back to video settings and change the resolution to 1080p. If this isn't the first time you've used HDMI for your PS3, make sure your T.V. is on the correct input. If the T.V. is on the correct input, try switching the HDMI cable to a different input. If that doesn't work try using a different HDMI cable, testing different HDMI connections if you're still getting the black screen. If none of those work then it's probably a problem with the PS3, but just to make sure try plugging something else with HDMI to see if that works. If another HDMI device works, then it's your PS3, if it doesn't then it could be a problem with your HDMI connections on the T.V.
No,try websites like Ebay.com or Amazon.com to buy a HDMI cable.Plug the HDMI cable in ur computer USB hub and the other side of the HDMI cable to the tv HDMI hub.Go into tv menu goto the tv find the wright input of the HDMI cable is in ur tv input there it is ur LCD Tv as a computer monitor.
mine did the same thing...it was on rgb...didn't have ability to plug in computer to tv as suggested previously and I kept trying to hit input button on side of tv after turning tv on..didn't work but when I pushed input button before turning on tv when i turned on tv input screen was up and was able to move input to hdmi...everything works now.
Yes you can. This TV has both VGA-In and component in support. The only thing you need to change is the input you're using with your remote control. As easy as changing the channel!
