Hi,
There are only two (2) sources for the Win98SE driver of the LinkSys WMP54GS: a. online, and/or the CD installer.
Probably the easiest would be to go to an Internet Cafe and make use of one of their machines and make sure that you get one with a CD burner. Thereafter proceed to the Support pages of LinkSys and download the appropriate driver and burn it into a CD. In the
LinkSys download page for drivers of the WMP54GS, you would be asked for the version (either a 1.0 or 1.1). There is also a Quick Install Guide for 98 & ME. Back to your Win98 machine, pop in the CD and install. Somewhere down the line the installation would also ask for your Win98 CD installer. An alternative would be to save it in a flashdrive (that is of course assuming that the Win98 USB drivers have been loaded to your PC. If not, you might as well download it also.).
Alternately you may have a friend who would be willing to lend you his/her installer CD or you can try approaching a sympathetic sales person in a computer shop (or tech) who would burn a copy of the original for you.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
