Getting J and 02 in Copystar cs-2114 in copier

Before getting 2 lines and patch at one side , I tried cleaning the drum. After that getting this error. Please can you suggest me the solution for this. Thanks in advance, Regards, Ramesh

You probably had a problem with the drum cleaning blade....
Now you probably have a problem with the blade and the drum.
This drum is very sensitive. From what I remember,
"J" means jam. 02 is the 2nd position. I'd have to find the manual to give you more. I'll look in my discontinued machine file cabinet.

IMPORTANT IS DO NOT CLEAN THE DRUM, COZ THE DRUM IS VERY SENSITIVE...TRY TO CLEAN THE MIRROR IN INSIDE AND OUT SIDE...FIX EXACLY THE DRUM ON HOW YOU REMOVE

My copystar cs 1815 is printing low on one side?

The feeder assembly must be out of adjustment this is most likely at the drum. 85 bucks just in parts. Labor would depend on whom you choose to have it repaired with.

After changing the toner we get a black line down the center of the page when printing or copying

Your copier utilizes a print drum cleaning blade similar to a windshield wiper. That blade is distorted or worn , affecting that area of drum. IF a techie, you could remove BOTH print drum & blade, clean BOTH with cotton "ROUNDS" & SILICONE car polish. Buff drum thoroughly dry, reassemble.

Try to re install the cartridge? Also make sure the drum unit & developer unit are connected corretly. Odds are one of the two clips that lock the two parts of the drum unit may be broken....

How do I get the drum out of a Copystar CS-2030? Our prints have large blurry lines on them and I'm assuming the drum needs to be cleaned or replaced, but I can't remove it.

You might look at the mirrors in the scanner section. They sometimes get cloudy and can give you symptoms like that.

My Kyocera Copystar CS-2114 Copier is printing a one inch black line of the left side of the paper

have a look at the scanner glass especially the thin strip glass this is the glass that is used when passing paper through the document feeder. if you do a copy from the main glass or print to it and no line apears there is probably dirt or tipex or a ink mark on the surfac, the other thing to look at os the drum charge unit as htese can sometimes fail to connesect correctly at the back and not sit tight in the slot this means the drum isnt charged on the edge.. good luck

Copies too dark

Hi Scottie,
Please clarify if the darkness is like a darkened background or like streaks across the page... If it is the former you will just require a clean of the optics, if the later then a drum cleaning blade will probably do the trick...
