Image has lines and pink in colour

This maybe two problems, the pink color hue in the picture and lines from lens shutter problems. Your LCD is still good. You have to replace motherboard and lens.

The problem is its having difficulty in focusing on objects. If your going to take a picture its so blurred and hazy but if you are gonna see the stored pictures its so clear.

Blurry picture could be caused by insufficient lighting or constant camera vibration. Try increasing the ISO to max and fixing the camera so it doesn't move. If the picture itself is focused, than maybe you have a problem with the cameras' screen. If the picture is still not focused (nor camera screen or stored one) than maybe you have to clean the lens. Use a dry smooth cloth. If that doesn't work, than maybe you have a sensor problem. For that you'll have to contact the company for warranty.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

LCD screen is extremely blurred

It is probably not the LCD itself, but an element that is protecting the LCD is bent out of shape.

I called them today. They were great on the phone. They emailed me a UPS shipping label and told me that there will be about a ten-day turn around to fix it and send it back.

Which mode are you shooting in?
You may have adjusted the exposure compensation so everything is washed out.

Whatever the cause, your images are overexposed. Try shooting in auto and the camera should take over the settings, but if you are in other modes, check your shutter speed, aperture, & ISO also. These are all things that can cause too much light and wash the picture out/OVEREXPOSE.

If you have any other questions or can give me more details, just ask!

Hope this helps!

Camera taking very hazy pictures

First thing to try is to reset all your settings to default. It is possible to manually set the shutter time so that it stays open for a long period of time. If that is not the problem it is also possible that your shutter is not functioning properly. Do you see any vertical or horizontal lines running across your picture? (these would be totally straight not wavy like the movement from your exposure). If you do see that it is possible that your shutter is not closing at all when you take a picture. Blurred Picture in the shooting mode

one of the possible cause of the said problem can be a defective or broken flex ribbion cable carrying signal to the focus motor. the replacement of the flex will solve the problem. othe may be friction in the focus assembly. cleaning of the same will do the job. but in both the cases you will need the help of repair shop.
