Hello, I have a D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router and Bell Sympatico High Speed DSL (I live in Ontario Canada), I have my desktop hooked up directly, and wirelessly my mom's laptop and sometimes my Xbox 360 connected to it. Every so-often it just freezes on me (all lights are solid green) and the only way to get it going again is to unplug it and plug it back in. It freezes almost every time I reboot the router maually as well. Any ideas as to what might be causing this or what i can do to fix it?
I have found a router freezes up due to memory leaks. After a while it just uses up all its available memory and can't make a new connection. Calling the manufacture and raving until they send you the firmware fix for the memory leak is the best option. In the meantime, just pull the power plug on the thing and when it comes back up it will be fine (until it uses up all its memory).
