Toso, If your model number starts with 110, you don't have a belt to worry about. This is a direct drive washer. The clicking noise could be any number of things such as; something passing through the pump, something under the agitator or something caught in between the basket and tub. The hot smell could be the motor getting hot from the load. It's really hard to tell without being there, but it doesn't sound to serious...Catriver...post back.

Removal of Fan on 1999 Chevy Tahoe

If your talking about the fan on the water pump,, 2 ways,,, pair of needle nose vise grips and clamp the pulley from behind so it cant turn then use the proper size wrench to loosen the large nut CCW,, i think its a 32mm. Or if you have access to a hand held air hammer with a flat chisel head put it on the egde of the nut to loosen,, this works great,,all it takes is a second to break it loose,,,, leave the belt on while loosening to hold the pulley using this method,, you can also leave the belt on using the vise grips to ,,but you might have to replace the belt if you damage it,, wrap a little black tape or somthing simular around the vise jaws

How do you release the tension bolt to fit the belt on the washing mashine

To fit the belt it is not necessary to release the tension bolt. To remove the belt use a long screwdriver. Put it between the belt (sideways) and the large wheel, lever the screwdriver to outside while moving the wheel in clockwise/anticlockwise depending upon where you put the screwdriver at left/right side. Reverse the procedure for putting the belt on the wheel. While putting the belt first fit it on the motor pulley.

I put my comforter in the washer on slow and large wash, but it stopped after about 5 minutes and water had flowed out. what do i do now?

Never wash a comforter in your home machine. Laundry mat is where you was that one. A comforter will break the drive coupling. This video shows how to replace that drive coupling. Note: For a more precise answer you need to post your model number.

How do you remove water pump on 1995 Buick Century?'

I think most (if not all) 95 Centurys had a 3.1. Specifying engine size allows for a more specific answer to your question.

To remove the bolts from the pulley, first put the belt back on. With the belt on, you may be able to unscrew the pulley bolts. If the pulley still spins, you can try rotating the tensioner in the 'tighten' direction to get a better hold.

What I do to remove pulley bolts:
With the belt on, I get an open-end wrench 2 mm larger then the bolts.
I place the end of the wrench around one bolt. It will fit very loosely. I then use a ratchet and 6 point socket on a different bolt to turn the pulley counterclockwise until the handle of the open-end wrench contacts another bolt. Holding the wrench firmly, I use the ratchet to loosen the bolt it's already on just slightly, not more than a quarter turn. I then move the wrench to the next bolt until all bolts are slightly loosened. A second pass with just the ratchet and no open-end wrench then loosens the bolts one full turn. I remove the belt at this time and then fulley remove the pulley bolts.

If and of the water pump mounting bolts are stuck, do not apply excessive force and break them off. Instead, reinstall the pulley and belt. Then fill the cooling system completely and allow the engine to idle for about 15 minutes or until it is fully warm. You can now remove the belt and pulley, drain the coolant, and safely remove the stuck bolts without breaking them.

I need to replace the belt

You shouldn't have to remove the pump to replace the belt. The motor mount can be loosened and the motor moved so the belt will fit over all pulleys without removing the components.

Loosen motor, move it in, install belt, move motor out to correct belt tension, tighten motor mounts.

How do you install a new belt? its hard to fit around !!

Youmust loosen the motor bracket bolts and this will allow the motor to swing. Put belt on the motor pulley and feed the belt onto the large drum pulley and at the same time turn the drum pulley so that the belt pulls onto the pulley groove. Put some tension on the motor to tension the belt - not too much tension though. Holding the motor & belt tension, tighten the motor bracket bolts - job done. Should take no more than twenty minutes to complete.

Washing machine

you shouldnt have to loosen it, if you put the belt on the motor first then onto the pulley, using both hands (one to keep belt on pulley the other to work the belt around) it should go on pretty quickly, maybe tight though.
hope this helps
