Sony rear projection convergence

Tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have a colors shadows or 3D pictures look alike?Ur tv convergence board have dead 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors too.These parts on the tv convergence board,must be replaced to solved the tv picture convergence problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

Thats caused by a convergence failure. The Sony type 1 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually correct that issue the kit contains the components and the CD with repair instructions so you can repair yourself.

You need to replace the convergance IC's and a pico fuse on the power supply

convergence ic's replace all 3 be carefull make sure to reapply the thermal compound to the heat sinks after cleaning the old stuff off stk's can be had from global

Yes. My convergence was all out of whack. I was not about to tackle this job on my own and was afraid of getting screwed. After much research, I found a Sony specialist in Dallas who came out that day and fixed the convergence ic's and it cost me less than 2 bills. I can't remember the guys name, but I have his card. It is A Plus TV Service at 7000 Independence Pkwy #160 in Plano, TX 75025 (972-322-2988).

you have possibly 2 faults /one may be convergence ,the other is screen adjustment set to high(red).
