I had to restart my computer, then I opened the applications folder in Finder and right clicked GoToMeeting - selecting put in Trash. Then the Trash would delete it. what is frustrating was the after a meeting the GoToMeeting app wouldn't quit -- so thus the restarting of the computer. Hopes this helps.

Gotomeeting recording not playing in windows 8

Do you mean that the video file recorded by gotomeeting couldn't be played on your Windows 8? You should pay attention to its format, the gotomeeting video file is not supported by the most of players. If sometimes you need to review your gotomeeting video, you'd better to use other screen recorders which could record your session in common formats, such as MP4, AVI, WMV, etc. There're many free screen recorders could do this, like CamStudio and oCam. Besides, I can offer you a guide about how to use a useful application to record gotomeeting.

Can't uninstall from mac

Go to Finder (File Finder) then go to your Applications file. Find the program you want to uninstall. If the program is in a file folder then click on the file folder to open the file up. Look for a "Uninstaller" in the file. Click on the "Uninstaller" and follow the directions on your screen. Note that once you do this you must reinstall the entire program if you decide that you want to use this program at a later date.

If there is NOT a folder that has the "Uninstaller", then simply drag the program file to your trash can on your tool/app bar. To reinstall the program you can recover the file from your trash. Don't delete the contents in your trash until you are sure you do not want to recover this program.

Hi, I have previously been using the GoToWebinar and for some reason when I click the link to join a session, the site freezes. I have tried to uninstall gotomeeting but now it won't download it just...

Hi, you are most likely using a Mac running OS X 10.5 in which case a recent Apple update has broken Java. Please download and install the latest version of Firefox for Mac as it is currently the only web browser which has updated to fix this issue.
Thanks,

When trying to enter a meeting code for a gotomeeting, it then tells me there is an unexpected error. Please try again. I have confirmed that this IS the correct number.

I had this issue as well and I ended up having to delete the C:\Program Files\Citrix\GoToMeeting folder because it had some old cached versions of GoToMeeting. After that it worked fine.

How to setup gotomeeting in thunderbird instead of outlook

Solution is here. Go to Preferences in GoToMeeting, change the email application to your default email application instead of Outlook. Then make sure that Thunderbird is set as your default email application.
Now you are done!
Create a new meeting or click Invite button after selecting a meeting from the GoToMeeting My Meetings popup, and you can see the Thunderbird new email windows shows up.

Not able to install Citrix GoToMeeting

Hi!
I am a Vista user and did have the same issue, so here what I did in order not to have this annoying error (I am not sure what action specifically did the trick):
1) Did it via Firefox (make sure you have the latest one);
2) Go to java.com and install the latest java update;
3) Go to gotomeeting.com->Login->re-install software->download manually and save g2m_download.exe file;
4) Now do Unblock and Apply in g2m_download.exe file property General tab;
5) Then Vista users need to disable UAC, I suppose this is the same as "Uncheck the “Protect my computer …”" (Go to "Control Panel" and type "UAC" into the search box. This will bring up the link: "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off." Click it. Uncheck the box next to "Use UAC to help protect my computer" then click OK. Restart.);
6) After restart right click on g2m_download.exe and "run as administrator".
Thats it!

Invalid meeting ID in gotomeeting

It sounds like your attendees have an older version of the software than what is currently supported. They might try uninstalling whatever GoToMeeting programs they have on their computer and try again.
