Question about Mitel Computers & Internet

1 Answer

CDE login is locked out (mitel 200 ml)

I put in the wrong password (3 times) while trying to login to the CDE on a mitel 200ML. Now the modem answers but I cannot get a prompt (or any response for that matter). The last time this happened, I had to reboot the system. It seems line there should be a way to re-enable this without a reboot. Any sugestions?
Thanks!

I waited 3 days before I rebooted the system. If it was only 30 minutes - that would have been fine. I figured that after 3 days, I didn't have much of a choice. This has happened twice - but on the brighter side, it has made me much more careful in my typing. ;-)
    Thanks!

You do not need to reboot the PBX but you will have to wait 20-30 minutes before you can re-enter the password. It locks the system for the above amount of time

I forgot the password on my screen

That is not a problem, there are a number of solutions to this problem, but they are dependent on what version of Android your device is running. I understand you may not know the answer to that question, so here is a break down.

  • If you are running version 4.4 or below, try to login to your device 5 times - after the 5th time it will prompt you to enter the backup password or login to your Gmail. Having one of those (2) items, will get you back in.
If you have a higher version, which is more common with newer devices, you have a couple of options, but they are a little more technical. I would start with trying to login 5 times and see if you get the prompt to login with Gmail. If not, I put a link, that has some more advanced options that you can try!

I have my android cell phone an I want to connect to interent,, but it keeps asking for the password of modem... I put in whats on the side of the box... I need modem password.. how do I get that? help

If it's a CradlePoint router or modem/router, the owner may have enabled access control under

Tools -> User Login -> User Login Settings -> Require User Login, and
Tools -> User Login -> Internet Access Password.

Which causes a java popup to appear prompting for a password (which is not necessarily the same as the modem/router's administration password; typically it's NOT the same).

I imagine other routers could have similar settings... a good reason to include details such as the brand and model of the modem/router.

How do I reset the password in the Wi-Fi modem I own

> from this sight.

Did you mean "site" ?

If you can "login" to the router's built-in web-interface, your can reconfigure the SSID (name of your wireless network) and set a new password for your network.

If you cannot login, do a "factory-reset" on the router, to restore the default login ID/password, and then login and do as above.

Invalid Set Type Check CDE

The original setup of the phone was most likely done on a mitel 5224, you can only use this model or newer. The 5220 or 5215 will give this error when trying to replace the original phone. To use these phones, delete the extension and redo it.
