Question about LG 37LP1D 37 in. LCD Television

Rolling picture after about 30 minutes of viewing the picture rolls showing hundreds of little black squares in rows with white background, but still ok with the sound, turning off the tv then on again cures the problem for about another hour, then same thing again, although if i turn on, on screen display, this does not roll it's normal, is this possibly a sky tv box problem, havent tried the built in freeview yet to see if this is the same. TV is connected by good quality scart lead,tv only 2 months old

If your Television is not warrantied, there should be rca, vga, and dvi connections you can use with your pc and video card. Since I am in usa I have know idea what freeview, skybox, or scart are.

Try the free view and see if the box is bad, then if it still does the sane thing, I bet theres a bad connection on the driver IC board, on a connecting ribbon cable, or a bad drive ic. These are things that a user should not attempt to repai, as there are no user replaceable parts inside this set and should be serviced by a train tech. Good Luck

Replace the roll without black on white in DYMO 450 turbo

Most of the labels come with the black rolls already in place
i think you can just reposition the new labels on an old roll if the end isn't attached to the roll

The controller board for the screen is going bad. check shopjimmy.com for replacement parts. It's not a difficult job to do. Once the back of the TV is removed, you'll see it near the center of the screen.

Have board game parcheesi but no instructions can you help?

Instructions
    • 1 Place four groups of pieces, or pawns, on their respective color circles at each corner of the board. The first player rolls the dice. When the dice has a five, or the two die combine to make five, the player can move one of his pawns out of his circle.
    • 2 Move pawns in a counterclockwise direction. You can only move your pawns on the purple and light blue squares in this game.
    • 3 Roll again if you roll a double. However, rolling doubles a third time forfeits the turn and the pawn furthest along the board must be moved back to the starting circle. Rolling a double when all the player's pawns are out of the starting circle is a "double bonus" and allows the player to move by both the tops and bottoms of the dice.
    • 4 Count each die separately. For instance, if a 2 and a 3 are rolled, the player can move one pawn two spaces and another pawn three spaces. If the same pawn is moved, it is not a total of five spaces moved, but two and then three; if another player's pawns are on a square two or three spaces ahead, the player cannot move.
    • 5 "Bop" the other player if you land on a square occupied by another player by exact count; the other player then must start again. It also allows you to move your pawn other 20 squares.
    • 6 Complete a circuit around the board in order to enter your pawn into the corresponding color home row. You can only reach the center square by an exact count. You then earn ten extra points that another pawn can use.
    • 7 Get all four pawns into their corresponding color finishing squares to win the game.
Tips & Warnings
  • Each square in the main ring and in the home rows can only have none, one or two pawns on it. The two pawns must be of the same color.
  • Purple squares are safety squares. A safety square cannot be occupied by two opposing pawns. One pawn on a safety square does not create a blockade, so other colors can pass by it.
  • Two same-colored pawns on a space form a blockade, or barrier. A blockade cannot be passed by any other pawn , even one of the same color. A blockade cannot be moved together. (This rule only affects doubles.) A blockade must open when the player rolls a six.

Light streaks and gray streaks and little contrast.

Sounds like there are multiple problems on this machine. Dirty optics can cause light images, white streaks can be caused by dirty cortron wires(becareful when cleaning the wire or all the wires 3 usually, Q-tip can help) , not enough toner in the ink hopper, dirty cleaning blade in the drum modual. A bad heat roll can cause streaks also. Background with light images and black spots can be caused by competitive toner not working very good.

please clarify what you mean?
Do you mean motor bearings or brush roll bearings?
brush roll bearings can be adjusted to lower the brush closer to the carpet when worn.
to do this remove the front brush assembly, there is usually a sticker below the belt hole showing RED = POSITION 1 HIGHEST (ie a new brush roll)
GREEN = POSITION 2 MIDDLE (brush part worn)
BLACK = POSITION 3 LOWEST (brush fully worn)
At each side of this there are 2 clips unlock these and remove the bottom cover.
Release the belt tension by rotating the belt release at the front.
Before removing the brush roll, at each end of the brush roll there is a grey plastic bearing carrier (Square at the ends) MARK this with a pen or marker just so you know the original position, also look closely for the coloured markings as indicated above or numbering 1,2 or 3.
If RED or "1" is showing you need to remove the brush roll by pulling it out and rotate the endcaps to Green or "2" and re-insert the brush roll, If Green or "2" is showing then rotate the endcaps to Black or "3" and re-insert.
If Black or "3" is showing then the brush roll is worn and cannot be adjusted any more, fit a new brush roll and insert with RED or "1" showing.
To re-attach the belt, move the belt to the middle of the roll and rotate the belt knob at the front ensuring the belt engages with the hook on the inside.

When viewing images on TV the picture is vertically rolling.

Check the video setting in the set-up menu. It may be set to PAL if you are on the NTSC system, or vice versa. Also check the TV input to ensure your're on the correct channel.

Dimage E40 TV picture stability

In black and white? If there is a red and yellow, white and yellow, or red white and yellow on the tv end make sure the colors are matched correctly. Try on channel 3. Try on another tv. Is the camera from a foreign country? (Might be PAL, not NTSC.) If so, there should region menu in the camera to change this. For video, you have to shoot it in the mode of the TV you want to watch it on. North American TV's are NTSC, so shoot with the camera in that mode. If you shoot in PAL mode, a north american TV will show a black and white rolling picture. Just about everywhere else in the world is some version of PAL.
