Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
This message comes up on my screen. How do i fix it.
Also my task manager refuses to display.
Please send me patch or give a proper solution for this error "Generic host process for win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close". After coming of this error, my net automatically disconnected and if i want to reconnect then i have to restart the pc. This error comes during the internet surfing and comes in after 1 or 2 mintues. Please send me the patch or solution,

I have this same problem, or did have, and I saw several references to it being caused by HP drivers. While this may or may not be the case, what I looked at was any new hardware or removable media that was connected via USB port. I was getting this problem after using a Attache 2 G.B USB Flash Drive, via USB port. When it is not connected I have no problems at all. Also, you might note, that the USB port I was using, was not a high speed USB port, so that may be helpful to you as well. So check out your USB ports and all components connected and elimanate 1 at a time until you find the culprit. Then youll have an idea on where to start your search for updated drivers.
