Recently i changed the housing on my razr and i put everything back the way it was (at least i believe i did) but now the phone doesn't know that it's closed when i close it. The outer screen continues to show the logo. Not to mention that it makes it so that all the outer buttons are still functioning so anything that touches the phone makes it make noises and stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
There is a magnet on the upper part that has to be sensed by a sensor on the lower part. If the phone is open, the magnet is located on the bottom right hand side of the upper part. The sensor is located above the right soft key. To fix mine...close the phone...I opened the battery door, above the battery on the left side is the back of the sensor... it did not appear to be glued to the housing...very gently push the sensor in... it should feel the magnet and the front screen should come on... at least it did on mine... good Luck

There is a little magnet in the inner half of the flip, below the screen. it is on the right side if you are looking at the phone as you would normally use it. I hope you kept the old housing...

It could be the battery. Or just the phone. Same thing happened to me actually. After about a week of it happening, it started to work properly again. But just in case, you might want to get it looked at or just get a new battery. Your provider should be more than happy to send you a new phone if it doesn't work.

I'm having the same problem with my phone... did you ever get it fixed without having to replace the phone?
