SOURCE: Reset my camera settings

You can reset the camera to the factory default settings by pressing and holding down the two buttons on the top of the camera next to the shutter button. You will hear a short beep and then a long beep once the camera has been reset.

SOURCE: i need a reset ...

Do a manual reset: remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on. However, this blue picture problem doesn't sound like a reset will fix it.

I'm having trouble with my olympus E420. When i set the dial to "A" or "S" and press the shutter button, the camera does not take a picture immediately, but after about 1 min.

I had this problem also and I called the Olympus helpdesk. You will need to reset your camera to factory reset and that will solve the issue...

Display not on

The EVOLT E-500 does not have a live view LCD screen so you can see the image you wish to take a picture of. You must use the viewfinder to take images with this camera and only use the LCD to review the images.

As far as to reset the camera back to factory defaults, you need to turn the camera dial to P go to the Menu and on the camera 1 tab right arrow over and then arrow down to custom reset setting and then hit the right arrow highlight reset and press ok it will show reset yes or no highlight yes and press ok this will reset the camera back to its factory settings

Flash dont work on my fe 230

Have you tried to reset the camera to the factory default settings? There may be a setting that has the flash disabled. To reset the camera: have the camera in shooting mode - press Menu - left arrow to reset and press Ok. You will see Reset Yes or No. Highlight Yes and press Ok. This will reset the camera to factory settings. It will not affect any images that have already been taken. See if the flash is able to fire now.

I have an Olympus 1010. I took a few pics of my son, changed his outfit, and now all the pics are white, like they are overexposed. I have played with every setting on the camera with no luck

What happens if you try to reset the camera back to its factory settings. Does it still overexpose the images? TO reset the camera go to Menu - left arrow to Reset - press Ok - up arrow to Yes and press Ok. The camera will now be back in factory settings. If the images are still overexposed, it may be a repair issue with the image processing functionality.
