Couple of things here. Is the projector at the proper distance from the screen? (aka throw distance). If it as at the proper distance from the viewing surface then, if available, check and use your zoom.
It leads to a little flash tool that allows you to use sliders to adjust throwing distance and then tells you how much light you can expect the wall. It also gives you a ton of other useful information about the projector.
You can go to the Vivitek website and they have a handy distance calculator to help you know the correct distance to place your projector from the screen to achieve an appropriate size.
If you live in the USA, the minimum distance is what ever your local condtruction office building official says it is. If there is no local code, they will tell you what the national code requires.
Please give that office a call and find out what your local sode requires for minimum clearance.
hi, if u are using the composite video the try component video. composite video will dive u a dull image than component one. also check the distance between the projector an screen.Make sure the projection screen is between the required distance 4.9 to 40.7 feet (1.5 to 12.5 meters) from the projector. ok
I'm sorry, but the product cannot project the required size from the current distance from the screen,I tend to use a short throw lens projector for this.
if the power focus is not moving, the motor might be siezed and need repair or replacement. also make sure that the resolution matches the source. the projector is designed to have a minimum throw distance of 7.8 feet. if your screen is closer than that, it won't focus. if the motor works, the resolution matches, and the distance is ok, then you need to clean out the dust from the projector with canned air. if that doesn't help, you have an optical engine issue caused by excessive heat. either the light filters or the fly-eye lens are burnt and need replacing.
