Question about Jenn-Air SVE47100 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range
You are going to have to kill the power to the range and open the control panel by removing the four 1/4 inch hex screws. These are located undernieth the control as you open the door. Then by holding the panel on each side pull out. The J-2 harness will be on the main board. The harness will run from the display board to the main board. You want to unplug the harness and plug it back in for a good connection. Of course you want to make sure the harness is not damaged or burnt. Since you had this in the clean cycle when the code came up, the temperature sensor should be checked. I'm getting conflicting information on this error code. One sections states it's the j-2 harness on the board and another section states an overtemp condition and to check the temp. sensor. If you have the expertise you can ohm out the sensor to eliminate it. At room temp it will ohm out at approx. 1060 ohms. To tell you the truth from past experience I would go with the temperature sensor first. This is the probe in the oven. Removes from the front and of course least expensive. I have two part numbers for this sensor..(typical Maytag) 12001357 and 704657. If your serial number begins with 10 it would be the first one. Catriver, post back.
