Tv crashes hi, my toshiba 43" tv keeps crashing/locking up and the only way to fix it is to turn it off for 1/2 an hour or so. ive been told it is probably the text board which i understand is a plugin module, so i can replace that ive also been told if i remove it , the problem should be solved(though ill have no text)....but how can i identify it?

Contact Cisco support for a replacement. It is not normal for a switch to reboot like that. Cisco switches (not routers)have a lifetime warranty

Try a BIOS Reset.

REMOVE BATTERY REPLACE AFTER 1 MINUTE.

Re?nstall Windows ®

Try and uninstalling the wireless dongle drivers and reinstall. Sometime a reseed is all you need.

Take the back off and clear the fan of fluff. Fixes mine every time.

try downloading and running memtest86 on it, my guess is that the new memory chips are faulty.

Possibly the scanner head trying to reset. Could be a bad sensor or drive belt. Try moving the scanner head and cleaning the area. Check the belt for any breakage.

Seems to be a common problem with this model.

There is no part in this set called a text board. I suspect the person that gave you this information meant the wow board. it is a plug in board that is near the far right of the chassis as you face the back and is about 2" by 4". if you remove this board the and it is the cause of the problem the set will work but will have no sound.
