Hi, i have a problem with my Singer 2662. It sews just fine until I get to thicker parts of whatever i'm sewing (more than 2 or 3 layers of fabric), then it starts skipping. I have adjusted the tension, changed the needle, gone really REALLY slow over the area, you name it....I can't figure it out! Please help!

I was having some problems with mine and I changed to a metal bobbin size SA156 and have had no more problems. I bought them on ebay, 20 for $8.99 and free shipping. They are a Brother number but are the same size as 15j and work great, no more skipped stitches or anything, You may find them locally to at least try them. Whoever sells Brother machines should have them, just make sure that it is a SA156. I hate the plastic bobbins, they always give me grief. Good luck, I hope that it helps.
