"This memory card is encrypted but the phone encryption is off"how would that happen ?

where did you encrypt your memory card?...if its on pc then insert in pc if its on cellphone then use it on cellphone...format it where you decrypted it.

To open a locked memory card, select Options > Unlock memory card. Enter the password.
If you cannot recall the password to unlock a locked
memory card, you may reformat the card, in which case
the card is unlocked and password removed.
Formatting a memory card destroys all data stored on
the card.

Encryption
Select Menu > Tools > Encryption.
Encrypt your device or memory card to prevent
outsiders from accessing your important information.

Encrypt device memory or memory card

To encrypt the device memory,

select phone memory.
To encrypt the memory card, select memory card from the following:

Encrypt without saving key

• memory card without saving the encryption key. If
you select this option, you cannot use the memory
card in other devices, and if you restore factory
settings, you cannot decrypt the memory card.
Encrypt and save key

• and save the key manually in the default folder. For
security, store the key to a safe place outside the
device. For example, you can send the key to your
computer. Enter a pass phrase for the key and a
name for the key file. The pass phrase should be long
and complex.

Encrypt with restored key - Encrypt the memory
• card with a key you have received. Select the key file,
and enter the pass phrase

Remove your memory card and insert it again and see. Otherwise insert your memory card in another mobile and check if it works. If nothing works then give your mobile to an expert in a service center.

This method cannot be 100% guaranteed but you can try it.Here we will use the remote lock feature for re-setting the password. To do this, go to your phones settings >Security >Phone and SIM> and then allow Remote lock. The password of your remote lock will be the password of your memory card. So if you want to change the memory card password, just send an SMS containing your remote lock message. One last thing you can do is backup everything to the desktop software supplied with mobile phone. Select to backup apps, MP3, settings, contacts and everything important. And then upgrade or downgrade its firmware and change password.Hope this helps.

There are two methods:

Method 1 : Recover memory card password, using Fexplorer.

FExplorer software
As I said, we need to download Fexplorer software for this mobile hack. After installation, Browse to c:\system folder in your mobile phone. Here you would find a file mmcstore. This file is actually used to store memory card passwords in a mobile phone. Rename this file to mmcstore.txt and open with notepad. Now you will see the memory card password as it is, exactly. Mobile manufactures are now aware of this trick, and nowadays they use better encryption methods to block access to passwords.
Method 2: Unlock or reset memory card password of Nokia phones:

The first hack to recover the password of memory cards will not work on Nokia Nseries and Nokia Eseries devices. Here we will use the remote lock feature for re-setting the password. For this, go to your phones settings >Security >Phone and SIM> and then allow Remote lock. The password of your remote lock will be the password of your memory card. there is no such option to lock the memory card details in your phone......still u can work out encrypting your memory card data. but its one time process as once u access memory card after encryption by providing the correct password......its unlocked and u will have to again connect it to a PC to lock it....still if u want to try then reply and i will tell u how to do it....
