Television problem Plug it in, here a relay. See a green LED shining (showing me that it is in standby) on the front panel. Push power and nothing happens. Replaced Horizontal Output Transistor. Still no change. Replaced a zillion caps. Still no change. Any ideas? Can you help me? You seem to be very serious about repairs...anything specific for this model as far as notorious components going bad? PLEASE HELP or point me to someone who can! Thanks in advance.

The green led actually means its out of standby.advance the a 1 control to see if you have field collapse.dry jonts on the regulator ics is a common problem too....steve.ps.if the crt heaters are lit ,the psu and line stage is functional...

hi there once more.check to see if the ht voltage is present and correct, meter across the 100uf/160v cap on the secondary side of the psu.should be 130 volts. or in that region.dc,that is.. was the old line transistor actually faulty or just replaced "just in case"....anyhow,assuming that the transistor was short circuit, meter between the positive side of the 100uf cap and the collector of the line transistor.this should present a relative short cicuit.unplug tv for that,as you may fry your multimeter.no reading on say 200 ohm setting means the fusible resistor inbetween has snuffed it...regards,steve.

Kdl32l5000 no power

Sony 32L5000 Power supply not likely gone bad unless the fuse blow. If there is a click sound and vold meter read 3.3v (standby) on the far top right terminal mean you power supply still good. If no led light on the front that is the bad main board (board with tuner box and RCA, hdmi plug) My replace and work like a charm.

Panasonic plasma tv turns on but no picture or sound

Same issue with - Panasonic TH-50PX70A , power UP with red standby, then power ON by remote - only Gives GREEN led blinking 35-40 times, followed by solid green led with no no picture no sound.
>> Solution; unplug Plasma from AC 10-15min, then plug in & power on to Red standby led,, At this point - Power ON tv while holding down both -Volume Down and F (function Select) buttons (front panel door) at the same time turns picture ON,all ok.

Power Issue

Now,u plug in the tv u get a solid red standby power red LED light in the front of the LCD panel right? When u push the power button on the remote u hear a clicking sound?Only one clicking sound, not the power supply board problems. It the Tuner board problems. But u can make sure it the power board problems or not.By taking the tv aparts check the power board, that board where the a/c power cord goes into it.Look all around the power supply board check for these leakage capacitors, they alway bulges up it top or puff up it top.No bad leakage capacitors, then it not the power supply board problems.

Your standby power supplies are most likely at fault you should check the low voltage regulators and see if they are functioning they may be defective.

Relays click. That's about it

try unhooking the wires coming off the power board you should be able to unhook every thing except the switch wire and se plug if the green lights stay on and the red don't come on then you have something loading down your power supply if it still shuts down you need a new power supply
