I would try another set of headphones and see if it works. Try changing the volume level and see if that helps. You could also try a set of powered computer speakers to test the jack. The audio jack may not output enough power for your headphones. There is also a chance the audio jack could be defective.
Find and Try reinstalling Driver for onboard audio look in device manager and see if there is an exclamation mark next to your sound hardware, also there maybe an audio out jack on your vid card that has priority over your onboard since its hd
http://teknmotion.com/contact.htmlGood Question. I decided to give them a call, and the rep confirmed that there are two jacks at the end of the cord one for audio out, the other audio in.
This product would not necessarily work on a single jack smart phone due to the dual 3.5mm jacks.
Hope this helps
the reason for this is that the audio thru this jack is attenuated to a level where you don't loose quality and to prevent ear damage. You better try the audio out or audio monitor output jacks located in the back of the tv(if this model comes with them). you'll probably need an audio amp to get the speakers to work properly though.
If your computer has a svga output use input 7 on tv with vga to vga cable and 3.5-3.5 Radioshack 42-2387 cable for audio for best results. If you use the dvi to hdmi on input 6 on tv use 3.5- rca Radioshack part number 42-2551 1/8=3.5mm.
but look and see if there is a switch on the back of the tv that sayes external speakers, if so us that and you book self speaker will work, also check in the menu under audio for this same setting, if none of these are there look at the back again this might be a audio out jack that is made to go into a amplifier
thanx alot,i wil try
