Heating element and broiler not working on frigidaire oven

Neither the heating element nor the broiler on our frigidaire oven will work. all other components work, the burners, the clock, the digital display, the oven light, they all work. i have been told that it must be a fuse, called a repairman to get a quote, and was told that it is about $100.00 more if the fuse is in the clock than if it isn't. does anyone know if the fuse on model number FEF366ECE is in the clock or not?

The best way for you to check is to swap with other element since they use the same one. FRIST turn the breaker off! Then take out the 2 screws on the element. The wires unplug, make sure they don't go back in the holes or the oven may have to come out to find them. You can pull the element out and take it to a parts house to see if they can check it with a ohm meter for you if you don't want to pull both of them out.

SOURCE: frigidaire oven won't work. top range works fine, but digital clock and digital display stopped working which works oven, so oven also will not work

If the oven was working before then
1. Power is gone from the unit - loose connector or neutral wire ( or ground wire depending on wiring system being used)
2. The power supply transformer (or transistor) on control board is busted. This is especially true if there was power problems in the apartment- power going on and off frequently. Check the wiring and see what comes up. Hope that helps

Frigidaire double convection wall ovens, model GLEB30T9DSA ... The top oven will not heat, both the bottom element and the broiler.....

I have the Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA single wall oven. About 3 months ago the baking element appeared to have gone out. We replaced it, but still didn't work. We ended up sending our control board off to a company named Corecentric. They fixed the problem and returned it to us. The oven has worked perfectly ever since. I searched extensively for a new one, but no one sold them anymore. I found Corecentric on Ebay. They were able to confirm over the phone that it was more than likely a control board issue. It cost about $130. My husband was able to do it himself by taking a couple before px and using them when reassembling it.

Frigidaire oven won't heat past 355

Contact a professional to have the unit diagnosed for repairs. Sounds like the heating elements are either faulty or the main control board won't allow the unit to heat up correctly.

Frigidaire gas oven, broiler works, oven does not

Sounds like you need a professional to diagnose the regulator and element valve to the bake element only.

Model FEFL78CBC frigidaire oven bottom (bake) burner won't work everything else works fine --even broiler element works fine. Just used self-cleaning cycle, which did work. Next morning oven won't heat ....

We had the same thing happen and now they came and said it was the clock that needs to be replaced. They said that controls the oven. Even though clock is on and working the function for turning on the oven is not
