The picture began being blurry a few months ago and now it is completely blurred for the first 20 to 25 minutes. After that it halfway clears up, but it never clears up all of the way. And it does this every time it is powered on reguardless of how long it has been off. I have called atleast 20 different repairmen and none of them know what the problem could be but for $800 they would come pick it up and take it to their shop to work on and be happy to charge me for their time while trouble shooting. And even then there is no gaurantee that they will be able to fix it. Please help, I don't have a problem with paying whatever it costs as long as it will resolve the problem.

Try adjusting the focus block this requires opening the back and front bezel of the TV. If it doesn't clear up after adjustment attempts then the liquid coolant inside each of the tubes need to be emptied and refilled with new coolant. Over time the coolant gets cloudy and can cause a blurry image with a white sheen. Contact me at the link below so I can help you further.....if this helps please rate:-)
If the viewfinder is also blurry, it might be as simple as a smudge on the lens. Is the blur uniform and consistent on the pictures and in the viewfinder? Was there a curious dog nearby when you set the camera down?:)
Hi suegy, the quickest thing to test is play a dvd and observe the quality of the display. if still blurry or dull, could mean something wrong with your TV. going through what causing it...could be weak signal or CCFL lamp not glowing enough or fully.
Since its only a month ago, should be still u/warranty. Check out where you bought from and avail that warranty.
1. What is the focal length of lens you are using?
2. Is the blur occurring with lens with a lower focal length than the telelens?
3. Do you still get a blur when you use the telelens with a tripod or a firm base?
It seems your set has a loose conection in the high voltage circuits,in fact by now it should have many loose conections in different areas like the power supply and the horizontal deflection circuits,if you are familiar with tv service you can use the information as the first step to take, some of the loose conections are hard to see even for the trained technician but the one giving you this problem should not be hard to see,if you are not too familiar with tv service be safe and call for assistance from a servicer a least for an estimate.
this is caused by a bad convergence module, and there are probably some dried out electrolytic caps in the circuit as well. i have one in the shop right now that came in with the same problem. if you have it serviced, make sure they replace all of the convergence modules (there are usually 2, but sometimes 3 of them), because if one went bad the other(s) is likely to go out soon as well.
