Hard Drives do not have a built in password. Hard drives are password protected by the original owner to keep thieves from getting into sensitive data. If your hard drive has a password on it and you don't know the password, then 99% of the time it means you have a stolen laptop. The original owner might have always had it password locked on the hard drive or once it was stolen they may have had the ability to lock it remotely. The only way you'll be able to use that laptop is to get the original owner to key in and remove the password from the hard drive or purchase another hard drive and get it installed, load the operating system, load the drivers, load the application programs.

AH59- 02330A program guide for tv set up

The AH59-02330A remote came with the Samsung HW-D550 sound bar. It is not a universal remote control and will only control Samsung TVs. (The remote may also work with other Samsung audio devices, including the HW-DW551.) Samsung has the manual on the HW-D550 support page: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2011-2-1-channel-soundbar-hw-d550-hw-d551 . See page 10 of the manual for the limits of the remote. The current link to the manual is https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201102/20110201172514949/HW-D550-D551-USA-ENG-IB_cms_0126.pdf .

Since the HW-D550 was manufactured in 2011, the AH59-02330A remote probably doesn't work with all Samsung TVs built after that date. Manufacturers change codes fairly often. This means that newer universal remotes can control older devices. The reverse is never guaranteed.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Remove Toshiba Tecra a9 s9013x notebook hdd pass How?

If you only had one administrative user account and you've forgotten the password, the first thing to try is to boot into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu where you can use your arrow key to select Safe Mode [enter]. The built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in Vista. However, if no other administrative accounts exist on the system it may be enabled. If it is, you will see an icon for Administrator on the Welcome Screen in Safe Mode. Log in (the password will be a blank) and then go to Control Panel>User Accounts and change the password for your own user account to something you will remember.

Doing all this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know yourself best and whether taking the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place) or a knowledgeable friend is the better solution for you.

If you don't see the icon for the Administrator account in Safe Mode, then the built-in Administrator account is still disabled.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

My computer boots up part of the way. The monitor says "Windows is starting up" and then it reboots. This process repeats and repeats until I shut it down.

This is an issue to diagnose.

1. Try using the OS Disk and choose to Repair the current Operating system.
2. If it does not works choose to install the Fresh Copy after formatting the drive. (Better use a spare HDD) This will isolate the HW issue.
3. Still if not successfull You may need to pass to HW level.
4. Remove every Add On Card on the Board. Remove the RAM and Place it back. Make sure the Locks are tight givig a Click sound as you insert it back in. Remove Network Cable. Remove any other drive/External device connected to system.
Try installing it for the last time.
5. If it is a Motherboard error.................. It will give auckward responses. Else Hurray !! your system just need one of those add ons replaced.

Steps for Clearing BIOS Password Check
If users set BIOS Password (Supervisor Password and/or User Password) for a security reason, BIOS will ask
the password during systems POST or when systems enter to BIOS Setup menu. However, once it is
necessary to bypass the password check, users need to short the HW Gap to clear the password by the
following steps:

• Power Off a system, and remove HDD, AC and Battery from the machine.

• Open the back cover of the machine, and find out the HW Gap on M/B as picture.

• Use an electric conductivity tool to short the two points of the HW Gap.

• Plug in AC, keep the short condition on the HW Gap, and press Power Button to power on the
system till BIOS POST finish. Then remove the tool from the HW Gap.

• Restart system. Press F2 key to enter BIOS Setup menu.

• If there is no Password request, BIOS Password is cleared. Otherwise, please follow the steps and
try again.

NOTE: The steps are only for clearing BIOS Password (Supervisor Password and User Password).

Check below for the picture of the HW Password reser gap. The gap that needs to be "shorted" is G77.
