Can you explain what you mean by "stack"? Is this an external RAID array? Is this a software error message you are getting on screen?
If on the other hand you are referring to the box that everything else plugs in to that would be the computer, everything attached to it, including the monitor is a peripheral.
If it's the computer that has a blinking light on it and won't turn on or off, it must be on for there to be a blinking light... to turn a computer off manually you need to hold down the power button for over 4 seconds to forcibly turn it off.
Disconnect all external devices such as printers, scanners etc. etc. and try turning it on again, if you get the same problem disconnect absolutely everything including the power cable and hold down the power button for 30 seconds (time it as it will seem to take forever) and try again.
Message back if it's not the computer, just a peripheral your having problems with or if you still get the same problem.
Going by the rating you still need some help with this problem? Can you tell me what happened when you tried the diagnostics for a computer problem I gave you? Or if it's not the computer your having a problem with but an external device can you give any more information as to what it is other than "stack" since stack is not a specific device or component and could refer to any number of devices?
