If you mean reboot, as in restart by reloading the operating system, hold down crtl + alt + delete and choose restart from the menu. If you mean something else, please clarify. (over the years, reboot has come to mean many different things to many people)

You still need to install the drivers into your computer. You can get all the drivers in the website of the manufacturer.

Look for drivers and download page. Enter the model of your computer and select the operating system that you are running. Install the drivers.

After installing the drivers, make sure that they are all updated to the latest version to make them work to its full potential. You can install RadarSync (www.radarsync.com) - it is a PC driver updater to make your drivers updated all the time.

This is what's known as a post code. Record the pattern, and contact Gateway tech support- you have a component that has failed, and the post code will tell which it is. Depending on the severity, it could be just the memory, or it could be the motherboard

So, for 5.95 you can download and save the manual which has step by step instructions with pictures on how to replace your screen.

I'm a pro laptop repair specialist and use the site often, adding to my collection of Service Manuals/Guides.

The LCD panel will be cheapest for you on eBay.
