Invert imgage shown on 19" CRT tatung monitor

Hi, on my game machine, the chasis was fried, so I changed it by another identical chasis, however, when I had the power on, the image shown top part become the bottom, left become right, letter shown backward such as from abcd become dcba order, or by another word, completely inverted, do you have any idea???? thanks for any tip in advance.

Hi, I already tried with a different identical monitor using the same chassis, the image showed in corrected way, no problem at all, what else should I try??? Thanks.

Hi, I already tried the new chasis with the other identical monitor, the picture is shown just fine, in a corrected way. Do you have any other idea such as synch or plyback adjustment??? thanks.

Hi,

If everything else works, then it could be that the pin arrangement of the 4 terminals of the yoke were reversed. There would be two for the vertical and another two for the horizontal. Inverting on each pair wouold give the results that you have described.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

As a fellow "expert" here at FixYa, you of course know that when you gave me a "Thanks for Trying", it was detrimental to my ratings.

In any case to your concern, if the "new chassis" work except inverted, then there would be no problem with the "synch or plyback adjustment?" As initially posted, have you tried reversing the yoke connections?

I have a Tatung lcd flat screen monitor tv. The television comes on there is sound but the screen is black. The tv is 5 years old. What would cause this?

Failed backlight inverter circuits or the power supply for the backlight circuits has failed, you need to open it up and inspect the power suply first, look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops. Post back what you find so we can guide you further.

VX900 19 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor: when i turn it on the screen is black....

You may have backlight inverter failure, check the fuse as shown in my pictures, you can also have bad backlight assemblies also, but check the fuse on the inverter bd first, verify that you do have 12v at the fuse.

Monitor power light blinks blue but does not power on

if the screen was fryed the fuse would of blew which means there would be no lights at all.. the best thing you can do is plug your screen into another pc to see if anything happens.. if nothing happens then yeah your screen must of messed up somewhere.. but if your screen works on another computer then your graphics card config cant be right somewhere along the line

Identifying which capacitors might need changing in a Philpips PHP-X19I have looked for swelling/distortion but they all look good to me, so are there a common capacitors that go, and if so which ones are...

ok, you need to do
1) check all capasitors at power supply (filter) and inverter (there are some smaller capasitors, see is there any color or swelling (even very tiny). change them.
2) most common the inverter board problem with some driver components wrong. need check the condition
3) if the monitor use over 3 years that one of lamps could be overlife, it should be a sympton like this,
hope you fix it, any ask to me please

Try using the minimum supported refresh rate. Also set the resolution to the minimum that will please you (for example 1024x768). See whether the lag still occurs. (Use the nVidia control panel to change the settings). If there is no lag, you can increase the resolution step by step (if you feel the resolution is too low) and keep on increasing until lag occurs. Set the res just below that value.
