Question about Casio G-SHOCK 200M DW5600E1V Wrist Watch

Strap I have had my G-Shock for a long time and it works perfectly. Some time ago I replaced the strap at Walmart with the same strap on the watch. This one did not last long. Walmart, the only place I can find a good selection of watch straps, did not have the Casio one so tried a Timex strap. The problem with this strap is that the pin will not seat properly. I do not want to purcahse another watch as this one works great and is what I like in style and features. What are my options?

If you ever need a watch band for a casio watch just call their parts department and they should be able to send out one for whatever model of watch you have. Their number is 800-223-2001

Assuming it is a standard Watch, the Watch counter at Walmart should be able to attempt a repair. They also might have a replacement band there as well.

It that doesn't work, try a Jeweler.

I bought a watch from Walmart a month ago and do not have the packaging but have the receipt. Is there anything we can do about this? It broke today

if broke due to mechanism failure [not dead battery] or strap broke bring back to customer service if not due to abuse should exchange or refund but need receipt

New watch strap

I got mine from ebay. Its tough to install but I used a pen knife and a very small sdrewdriver. you can do it.

I ordered one from casiosalesandservice.com a couple of days ago. They said it shipped but I haven't received it yet (it is due in a few days) so I can't make a recommendation one way or the other.

Can't figure out how to change watch strap

Hi, try this - it worked for me. Use a needle to poke the ends of the watch strap axel (at the end and running across the strap). This should then allow you to lit the silver panels at the top and bottom of the watch face off. The axel should then slide out. I did this by pushing one end of it through with a needle so that the other end poked out enough to pull it out with a paid of pliers.
