Wanna service my split ac at home. but donno how to open the front side hence unable to do further cleaning. Can somebody help me with this. Need a manual for the same which i dont have right now.

Remove DC wires from indoor display or from PCB and re plug it again. And also remove batteries and reset it. Now start your a/c. If it's working, o.k. If not press on/off button continuously for 5 seconds, you will get error code. It's very long list of error codes, which can't paste it here. SOURCE: where is reset button located
Look at your remote carefully. There is a bal pen type push to reset filter button on the remote. Depress the rest button and it should reset. Also on the contol panel you can also reset it by depressing the mode and the UP temp arrow buttons for 5 seconds.

I think the more likely problem is that the unit is slightly short of gas\ refrigerant, which is a common cause of icing up evaporator coils and this sound you describe. First check that the air filter is clean. Another cause could be the defrost sensor is faulty, but I would think not. Some ice isn't actually a bad thing, but quite common as long as it doesn't form over too much of the coil, or get too thick.

Look real hard on the remote. There is a mini "use a ballpoint pen" push to reset filter button on the remote.
Electronic control panel: (not all models)
Hold the mode button and the Temp Up arrow depressed for about 5 seconds. It should display the temp and the FL should disappear.
