If Lamp has never been replaced its possible ,but sony is well known for Bad light tunnels or the Light engine. Call UED for information and Part 1-800-648-6657 and if Lamp call Mats 1-800-628-1118

you need the ssm panel. You can get a replacement panel for your model at the following link.Which is the correct board for your model it controls color, convergence and etc.

Based off manufactureing timeline it sounds like you have some capicitors going bad you will need to contact a qualified Service agent for a service call to repair the problem.

ahh, that isnt good, the only reason I can say, is, the green stain your referring to, is result of a magnet, or magnetized object coming too close to the screen, thus pulling the color from the screen, depending at which point you put the magnet, it will either be green, red or blue. I dont believe there is fix for it.

Convergence amps are failing which is very common. Several hundred dollars for a repair.

hi sir that thing hapen when the magnetic field around the screen is varies evry time the tv set is switched off then on after an hour may be , it comes to its normal magnetic field state and when not so there are two reasons 1- check for around the tv for any magnetic items ,speakers , cassette recorder or any magnetic motors clear the around electric items if not working after an hour of reset then refer to 2 2- there is an electronic element inside calles PTC it should be deffect it is a small three legs element and is giving the first power to the colis around the screen to make proper magnetic field check it by qualified person please please don't forget to rate the solution and remember i am here at your service regards ]
