The digital panel stopped working and does not light up. We changed the panel thinking it would solve the problem, only to realize that we wasted our money and the problem continues. The double ovens work perfectly fine, but I have to guess the temperature since the panel does not light up.

I have had two ww30430p ovens and both had this problem at about 36-48 months. In both cases Jenn-Air replaced the part for no cost, but I had to pay a technician to diagnose it and to install it. They would not take my word despite my having taken the oven apart and identified the problem and the part number and the solution.

    Overall, not thrilled with Jenn-Air

The oven control works but can not see the temperature and clock. I called coast appliance store in san diego and they said the problem could be either switch membrane or the clock itself. Each of them cost about $200 and it's a trial and error approach. Aparently these parts are special order and can not be returned if they don't work!!

This is a HEAT issue, not electrical. It is a design problem. The HEAT is "burning" the display panel in the older models. In the new models, Jenn-Air has put a cooling fan underneath the display panel.

There is the led display unit and the power unit both of which cost about $150. I don't know which one to replace.

I'm afraid you are going to need a new display board. Not very hard to change but a pricey item. Have seen this problem a few times. Good Luck!

GE Trivection JT930SOH1 Oven, touch screen not lighting up

The thermal fuse in your GE Trivection JT930SOH1 oven is likely located behind the touch screen control panel. In order to access the thermal fuse, you will likely need to remove the control panel.
Before attempting to access or repair the thermal fuse, it's important to ensure that the oven is unplugged and that you have taken proper safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and eye protection.
Instructions to access the thermal fuse may vary depending on the specific model of your oven, so it's recommended to check the owner's manual for your oven or contact GE for instructions.
However, in general, you may be able to access the thermal fuse by first removing the control knobs and screws that secure the control panel in place. Then, you'll likely be able to lift the control panel off of the oven to access the thermal fuse.
It's important to note that the thermal fuse is a safety device, and it's designed to blow if the oven overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. If the fuse is not blown and the touch screen is still not lighting up, it could be a problem with the touch screen itself or a problem with the wiring or other electrical components of the oven.
It's recommended to contact a certified technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Whirlpool Double Oven RBD305 Display doesn't show, oven wont work

Most definitely a bad control board and/or soldered components. (The part about cutting power to the oven was a dead giveaway)
There are low and high temperature solders, but usually solder melts at 370° F. If the oven is improperly insulated or ventilated you will have continued heat stress to the control board.

Oven Light won't shut off

Amazing, I had the same problem, was told the same thing, even quoted the same amount!   There must be a playbook with stupid answers by repair people.  Anyhow, here is how I unlocked my oven:  "Press and hold the 'Lock' button for 3 seconds then let go and it should unlock in about a minute."  Hope this works for you. Ge wall oven display says F7

Your problem is most likely caused by a short between sections of the ribbon cable between the touchpanel and the electronic control. The solution is to insert a slip of paper between the sections where it exits the touch panel. See the attached photo. If you have a metal touchpanel, insert slips of paper on either side of the ribbon cable as well. CAUTION: Be certain to turn off the power to the oven before you poke your fingers in and around the touchpanel. My solution has worked for hundreds of folks. Don't worry about the paper burning. Display doesn't work, but oven works

First turn the electricity off by locating the breaker to the oven and turn it off. Now wait for an hour or so and turn the breaker back on, if the display turned back on, you need a control board (other manufatures call it a clock, PCB or ECC but it's the main elctronic board with the diaplay built in). If it didn't come back on, turn the power off again and make sure all the wire harness's going to the board are connected good. Turn the power back on and it the display still doesn;t come back on you need to replace the main electronic control board. By the way double check the model number and brand because it might be wrong. Please post back.
