TV Goes off suddenly

Television goes on and off at times, then won"t go back on. If i wait it has been going back on again, this has been going on for a few months. I have had my cox man out he changed the cables but that has not fixed my problem.Has anyone had this problem. I would call service but i want to make sure i dont spend all kinds of money to repair and then have to buy a new one. Thank you for any help!

When turning on tv. screen will display Bravia image & then go blank. red light flashes SIX times

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TVicon1.png will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.

Tv wont go past the start screen

I have the exact same problem and am seeking a solution too ... it won't boot past the Vizio logo on the screen and the remote and side buttons won't work :(

TV works fine for about 3 minutes then the picture goes black and the red light on the front of the TV starts blinking. The sound works the entire time. If I shutdown the TV and wait a few minutes and...

The light is blinking a code. The code will be a series of blinks, a pause and the blinks again. Phone Sony service and give them this code. They will be able to advise you as to the problem.
