SOURCE: Weber Genesis Gold B Grill Problem

Could be partially clogged burner openings (jets).
Remove the cooking grates and the flavorizer bars. Obtain a BRASS brush (like used to clean white-wall tires) and brush the burner tubes from side to side and up and down along their entire length to remove all corrosion from the jets. Also the cross-over tube.
Before replacing the flavorizer bars and cooking grates, ignite all burner tubes and check to see the flames are all of about equal length and intensity.
If this isn't the problem, check the screens at the right-side ends of the burner tubes to be sure they're not clogged.
If the burner tubes are all clean and some don't ever ignite, the problem could be in the valves/manifold.

SOURCE: Weber Silver Genesis C regulator purging gas after reset process

This could be caused by a couple of problems. First the regulator could be bad, or the tank is getting to hot. Which causes the relief valve to open and release pressure. This will happen when weather outside is hot.

Had trouble lighting weber Q, replaced regulator still will not light with igniter button, had plenty of spark . It will light manually with grill lighter but will have a small back blow of flames. Tired...

Are you using the valve-regulator or a conversion hose to a 20lb cylinder? a gas problem is different from an ignition problem. If an ignition issue the piezo module on that model has to have a good ground connection because cast aluminum will not ground at the electrode. make sure wires are tight and secure. Also check the "gap" at the tip of the electrode and adjust for strong blue spark. Most barbecues need the electrode gap adjusted when first installed. if an older model dirt and grease will interrupt the spark so make sure the tip of the electrode and area around it is clean -- burner and collector.

Rattling noise coming from gas injector. Tendency to flash back towards the gas injector when on full.

check burners are not blocked, also air gas mix could be wrong you should be able to adjust the mix on the burner , and see if burner is not split this can also cause flash back .

Weber q200. I replaced regulator 3 times in 3 years using it 1 week each year.

Contact Weber. They have good customer service. A regulator should last "forever".

Sometimes Q100 will not light at all. No gas is coming out of regulator even with new tank and adapter hose or with portable bottle. Oil seen coming out of regulator. Other times when unit does light...

Nope, the regulator is not the problem. It's the LP tank regulator. The new OPD heads on the tanks are designed to prevent over filling. All 20lb cyclinders now have them. But, it's easy to solve.

Turn off the tank, disconnect the s/regulator from the tank, wait 5 minutes. Then reattach the hose/regulator to the tank and turn the tank on very, very slowly, until it is completely open. Now, try lighting the burners one at a time and turn them up to high. That should have solved your problem, by allowing the regulator to reset itself.

Just remember to always turn the tank on very, very slowly after turning the tank valve off each time.

Weber grill three burner. New tank of propane but

The new style2_bing.gif OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment
