Question about Genius WizardPen 4x3 (K941C001) Graphic Tablet

Open Question

Blinking LED I receive defective Genius Tablet from my clients. There are some cases like drained battery, worned pen tips, loosed connection between the conductive pad and the circuit board and other related cases, I can fix it easily. In case there is blinking LED at the pad, I don't have any idea what I'm going to do with it and I have no more choice but to request new stocks in order for me to send new units to my clients. What do you think I'm going to do with my stocks of defective units?

there should be a button type deal on the side somewhere above the buttons. push that in and pull the two halves apart.

SOURCE: pen tool not actually drawing

I also solved the problem by installing the driver from the website. The trick was to uninstall the old driver first.

SOURCE: Genius MousePen 6x8 pen drags as if I'm holding down mouse button

Listen up kiddos! I had this same problem and I was troubleshooting....apparently you have to make sure you uninstall the old drivers first and delete the directory entirely, before reinstalling the software.
So, UNPLUG THE TABLET! This is the part that screwed me up... then go to start > all programs > tablet > uninstall. Run the wizard, restart, go to my computer > local disk drive > program files and delete the Genius Tablet folder. Then, install the drivers again, reboot, THEN and ONLY THEN, should you plug your tablet back in.

Manhattan 177405 graphics tablet LED blinking.

The LED light is supposed to turn on when the pen is not being used. When you press the pen on the tablet the LED will turn off, only until you take the pen off the tablet. I believe this is mainly for troubleshooting, meaning if you press the pen on the tablet, the LED stays on, and the PC doesn't take in Input. This means you have either ran out of battery or the pen has been damaged internally. I believe it also tells you the tablet is powered on, again, meaning if the LED does not turn on when you plug the tablet into your PC then the tablet may be internally damaged, or the cord may be broken.

As for me; the LED doesn't bother me. When you're drawing with the tablet you should be looking up at the screen, not the tablet. So you shouldn't notice the LED.

I am not an expert, but I have been using this tablet for quite some time. I hope this helped.

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen

Hello :) we have the same problem regarding the same brand and product. But I got mine working just a while ago.
Try this: Control Panel>Pen and Touch
under pen options, there should be settings regarding the pen buttons. Unclick the "use the pen button as a right-click equivalent"
hope this helps though although it's been a year XD

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen.

Since you got this just a few days ago, you should take it back to where you got it and talk to them about what is going on. There is a warranty and you don't want to void that!

Okay, My MousePen tablet connects fine, my computer knows i have it attatched, and it knows i tap it with the pen 'cause the little LED light blinks... but the mouse onscreen doesn't move. it knows i'm...

I have the same problem. It happens after I'm not using it for 30 minutes or more. I don't think it's the battery or the tip of the pen because I've bought it a week ago. The only thing that work's is restarting the computer. But I hope that it's not solution!

Irritating Genius g-pen 560 problem

Maybe you should try to look at the settings and see if it says 'Pen tip' And if it says 'Nothing' Or something like that, Change it to 'Left click'.

Intuos 3 Pen/Stylus suddenly stopped working (as in dead).

Will the tablet work with the mouse? If it does not, is not working is the blue LED light on. If the LED is not working try another usb port. If the mouse works go into the Wacom tablet properties from the start menu. Select the grip pen from the tools. Click on the default button to restore the stylus to factory settings. When you press the pen you should see the pressure scale rise. You can also test the eraser pressure. You could also replace the stylus tip to see if that works. From the Wacom site you can order a new stylus or tips if it is found defective.

Try putting a new battery in it. Mine was having the same sort of problems, and they were pretty much entirely fixed by a new battery.

My pen wont respond on the tablet

No software aside from drivers are necessary. The Genius Tablet comes a configuration menu you can test. If you don't have this, you can get it for free from Genius' website.

You need to hold the pen close to the tablet to allow it to detect movement. I hold my pen <1cm from the surface. You may want to check the batteries.
